IPL 2020, DC vs SRH – 3 Things That Went Wrong For SRH

Although it was expected Sun risers Hyderabad (SRH) to play the finals against Mumbai Indians but today it was Delhi Capitals day who make the statement and let the world take a notice this time it will be Delhi Capitals (DC) coming as the winners.

There it is Mumbai Indians (MI) will play the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the finals of IPL 2020 on November 10th. That’s what we call the playoffs looked like not like the previous match of second qualifier.

Talking about the today’s match it was nail bitting match as Sun risers Hyderabad was in the game till last before Kane Williamson wicket changed the direction of match.

With the collapse in the chase SRH got back into the game but players didn’t capitalize the momentum and ended up as the losing side. Having said, take a look at the three things that went wrong for Sun risers Hyderabad.

Sun risers Hyderabad (SRH) has played with less effective bowling attack

This was the complete surprise move from Sun risers Hyderabad to play the knockout game without the quality bowling attack. With only bowler Rasid khan you can’t the other team to have any mercy on you.

Delhi capitals after winning the toss went berserk and posted 189 runs with the loss of 3 wickets in their allotted 20 overs with contribution of Dhawan 78 runs off 50 balls while hetymer remained unbeaten on 22-ball 42 runs.

Sun risers Hyderabad (SRH) has played with no intent

Chasing 190 in the second innings was the difficult task but with the player like David Warner in the team it was easy task. But with the wicket of warner it has set the breakdown for SRH they were reduced to 44/3.

However Kane Williamson who scored 67 runs off 45 balls kept the one end to provide resistance to the team scoreboard who didn’t get the support from the other players in the chase and failed to achieve the target.

Sun risers Hyderabad was playing without best XI

Team can’t going to win a match without their best players in a knockout game. Players like Jonny Bairstow, Billy Stanlake, Fabian Allen and Nabi were on the bench over the in experience players. This is out of box strategy from the player like David Warner.

Probably the biggest mistake the SRH has made in today’s game to play the gamble with his in experience players otherwise they were the top contenders to lift trophy one more by the end of this tournament.
