Although Sun risers Hyderabad has the batting strength but they once again relied on the top order to took the bail from a high scoring total. But things have went wrong completely after the major batsman have out. Having said, let us take a look at 3 things that have went wrong for SRH.

Losing the toss at Sharjah

There is a problem with most of the teams who have been batting second came out as losing ones. Mumbai Indians after winning the toss decided to bat first at Sharjah cricket ground which is a batting paradise for batsman.

Although Mumbai Indians lost two wickets at the 48/2 but Quinton de kock (67) and Ishan Kishan (31) put on 78 run partnership for the 3th wicket to put team back into the driver seat. Towards the end, Kieron pollard 25 runs off 13 and Krunal Pandya 20 runs off4 balls took the scoreboard to 208/5 in the 20 overs.

Shocking Batting Collapse of SRH

Chasing 209, was not going to be easy for Sun risers Hyderabad. SRH got off to a worst start when lost Jonny Bairstow at the score of 34/1. But David Warner (60) and Manish Pandey (30) put on 60 runs for second wicket to provide some momentum to the team.

From 94/1 to 142/5 it was complete shocking collapse which include warner, Williamson and Manish Pandey wicket. There was no way from tale to expect to turn the pressure game after such collapse and in the end SRH lost the match by 34 runs.

Not Playing with strong bench strength

Mohammed Nabi, Billy Stanlake and Fabien Allen. Team can’t let players like these on bench for too as it only makes them insecure. Out of 5 games so far, Sun risers Hyderabad (SRH) lost 3 games and win only 2 games.

If Sun risers Hyderabad (SRH) looking to qualify for playoffs they can’t keep the best players on the bench for too long otherwise it will difficult for them to win matches from do and die situation.
