IPL 2020, SRH vs MI – 3 Players Who Flopped | 3 November

When Sun risers Hyderabad (SRH) romped against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 56th match of Indian Premier League. It was the must win game for Sun risers Hyderabad to keep their hopes alive for the playoffs race. While on the other side Mumbai Indians with 9 wins was already at the top of the table.

In the first half of the tournament Sun risers Hyderabad has won only 2 games out of their 7 games and at the verge of losing its place in the playoffs but in the second half of the tournament Sun risers Hyderabad has set the world on fire with 5 wins out of their 7 games to enter the playoffs and made the statement “Sun risers Hyderabad is coming to lift to trophy”.

The three other teams KXIP, KKR and RR were in the race of playoffs but things never worked out according to strategy and here they are out of the tournament. Having said, let us take a look at three players who flopped in a match between Mumbai Indians and Sun risers Hyderabad.

Rasid Khan

4-0-32-1

Although Sun risers Hyderabad won the match against Mumbai Indians by 10 wickets to cement his place in the playoffs to romp the second qualifier against Royal challengers Bangalore.

But Rasid khan was not effective in a match against Mumbai Indians with only wicket of Saurab Tiwary. Sun risers Hyderabad won’t have quality pacers over the spinners in their bowling division. This might be the warning sign for Sun risers Hyderabad to come with a plan against Royal challengers Bangalore in a second qualifier of the playoffs.

Nathan Coulter-Nile

4-0-27-0

If your frontline bowler went wicket less you can’t expect the team to win a match. Defending 150 Mumbai Indians (MI) was no where in a match in the second innings when they have failed to get defend or even get a single wicket.

Mumbai Indians has to come with some strategy in the next match to make it to the finals one more time.

James Pattinson (MI)

3-0-29-0

Another frontline bowler went wicket less and won’t even completed his spell of 4 overs. This strategy looked absurd to not let your frontline pacer to complete his spell of 4 overs. If you keep your best players insecure you can’t expect the team to win.

As in a format like T-20 even one single over can turn the game and took the fielding team into the driver seat.
