PAK vs SA, 1st T20 – Pakistan beat South Africa by 3 runs

After Successfully defeating South Africa in Test series by 2-0, Pakistan has start the T20 series with the win the first game of 3-match series. After losing the toss, Pakistan (hosts) was forced to bat first by visitors (South Africa) and they have scored brilliant 169 runs for the loss of 6 in their allotted 20 overs. The wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan smashed the surreal century off 64 balls which featured 6 fours and 7 sixes to score 104 runs.

In response, South Africa only managed to score 166 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs and eventually lost the match by 3 runs. Reeza Hendricks 54 runs off 42 balls and J Malan 44 runs off 29 balls were highest run scorer from South Africa team.

1. Second Pakistani to score hundred in T20.
2. Most sixes (7) in an innings by a Pakistani batsman,

Mohammad Rizwan Surreal Century in the first game of 3-match T20 series

Mohammad Rizwan only wicket keeper batsman after Brendon MucCullum to hammered century across the formats. While earlier he made unbeaten century (115) in test match at Rawalpindi in the 2-match test series. Mohammad Rizwan also shattered the record of most sixes (7) which was earlier set by Ahmed Shehzad (6) against Zimbabwe at Harare in 2013 and Mohammad Hafeez (6) against England at Manchester in 2020. Rizwan century came in the last over of first innings bowled by Andile Phehlukwayo.
