Pak vs Zim, 3rd T-20 – 3 Players Who Flopped | 10 November

In the 3rd game of 3-match T-20 series when Zimbabwe team (ZIM) has played against Pakistan at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. It was expected to see some fighting spirit from the minniows called Zimbabwe team.

But that wasn’t happened like they have did the 3rd game of ODI series. Decision to bat first backfires, star players have failed to delivered upto their standards and the weak bowling department led to white wash of Zimbabwe team.

Pakistan on the other side easily the lift the series without having to put much fight in a dead match which there bowlers have almost done it.

Usman Qadir emerge out as a valuable player who took four wickets to completely humiliate the Zimbabwe team and made the statement that he will going to be superstar of coming decade for Pakistan. Having said, let us take a look at three players who flopped in a match.

Brendon Taylor (ZIM)

Another match and another series, Brendon Taylor has failed to performed. When he scores the chances are high for Zimbabwe team to win the match but if he failed the Zimbabwe team has never stand in a match. Zimbabwe team batting has revolve around Brendon Taylor and they have no choice to either produce talent like Taylor who could help the team in a crisis situation as the current lot of players have been failed to provide resistance to the team.

It has been complete average series for the player like Brendon Taylor into the 30s Taylor would like to end on high note his career in upcoming series.

Chibhabha (ZIM)

Another big reason Zimbabwe team has failed to delivered upto the standards they have set for themselves over the years. If a captain is not leading from the front you can’t expect the team to win matches or series against the A-list teams. This is big question mark on chibhabha captaincy for the upcoming tours and series?

Zimbabwe has to change his captain to get different results maybe the Brendon Taylor would be right pick for the captain role in the Zimbabwe team at this point of time when Zimbabwe is going through transition phase who can work as torch bearer like Andy Flower in the early 2000s.

Craig Ervine

Another big match player from the Zimbabwe cricket team who has the immense talent combined with his solid batting technique to turn the things around on his day against any team in the world. Ervine was brought into the 3rd T-20 game of the series and expected to showcase his batting strengths.

With the early wicket of Brendon Taylor, Ervine joined the captain Chibhabha to stop further more dents into the line-up but that couldn’t happened before Haris Rauf removed him caught by Fakhar Zaman at the score of 4 runs to left his team in the trouble and team never recovered from it and only managed to score 129 runs in their allotted 20 overs.
