Rohit Sharma finished a sensational year with the win against West Indies in the ODI series, ending 2019 with a record-breaking 2442 runs as an opening batsman. After enjoying a successful 2019, in which he beat Sri Lankan legend Sanath Jayasuriya’s record of having the most number of runs in a year as an opener across formats, the Indian batsmen said he wants to continue doing great for his team in all formats of the game.

India will travel to New Zealand early next year, which is likely to be challenging for the team. However, Sharma, said the team has done well in the past year and will look to continue that into 2020.
