New wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant will get an opportunity to outperform MS Dhoni’s record of most dismissals in T20Is between India and West Indies.
Rishabh at present has 3 dismissals from seven T20Is played among India and West Indies while Dhoni drives the rundown with five from seven matches in the T20I position. He still will get the opportunity to move beyond Dhoni’s tally as he is probably going to feature in all the three T20Is.

As far back as Pant replaced Dhoni in the limited-overs match, he has been blamed by many, be it for his batting, wicket-keeping abilities or be his job with regards to audits.
In the three-coordinate T20I series against Bangladesh which India won a month ago, the 21-year-old was censured for his moderate batting and poor basic leadership when it came to helping stand-in captain Rohit Sharma with respect to the DRS calls.
Previous Australia cricketer Adam Gilchrist had just advised Pant not to imitate Dhoni yet to chip away at improving his own game and being simply the best form.
